Dr. Feulner is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who received her M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry as part of a prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program, which included a full medical and graduate school scholarship based on academic excellence. Dr. Feulner spent several years doing her graduate school research in Neuroscience at the Gerontology Research Center, NIA, NIH in Baltimore as well as at Johns Hopkins University. She received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Medical Woman's Association, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Feulner completed a three-year residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where she was chief resident. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, the Maryland State Medical society, and the Harford County Medical Society. Dr. Feulner has undergone advanced training in the latest cataract, refractive and cosmetic procedures. Throughout her years in practice Dr. Feulner has been committed to many community related activities including free vision and glaucoma screenings, as well as educational talk radio shows.
Dr. Feulner is widely respected in the community for her expertise as a comprehensive ophthalmologist, cataract and refractive surgeon, as well as cosmetic surgeon. She performs "no needle/no stitch" small incision cataract surgery and utilizes the latest near/distance and astigmatic correcting intraocular lenses. She offers the newest CustomVue Wavefront LASIK technology.
Dr. Feulner lives with her family in Churchville, MD. In her free time she enjoys playing indoor soccer, traveling, and attending her children's sporting events.
